About Me

For the last 20 years, I’ve served in ministry—walking alongside people through their greatest highs (births, weddings, promotions) and deepest lows (sickness, loss, divorce, derailed stories). Entering into someone’s story is a profound honor. Over two decades, I’ve guided individuals in strengthening their marriages, friendships, workplaces, and neighborhoods.

Now, I’m shifting from waiting for people to come to me, to going directly to them. That’s why I built Pivot Conversations: to meet your team where they are and share fresh perspective. I want to help you tackle hard, high-payoff challenges—and genuinely enjoy the people you work with, work for, and lead.

I help teams embrace challenges
and deepen relationships.

Family & Roots

I grew up in the south—Southern California, that is! I’ve been married to my incredible wife for 18 years, and together we have three ridiculously awesome kids. As a family, we genuinely love hanging out—usually hiking, taking day trips, playing soccer, or hunting down new ice cream shops. My faith and personal relationship with Jesus are the foundation of everything I do.

People First (Always)

I’m deeply fueled by connection. Over the years, I’ve taken virtually every assessment out there—DiSC, Predictive Index, CliftonStrengths, Working Genius, Enneagram, you name it! But to spare you the alphabet soup: I believe almost anyone can become my new best friend. I’m insatiably curious, passionate about shared experiences, and I will always choose people over processes (wait… am I a puppy?!). On the flip side? I can overthink everything, read too many reviews before I buy something, accidentally exaggerate details when I’m excited, thrive on affirmation, and occasionally wrestle with choosing progress over a "perfect" plan.

Communicating & Encouraging

Communicating is second nature to me. I’ve been speaking publicly in some form since I was a kid—from youth government and theater to teaching almost every single week. I’ve spoken at kids' events, teen camps, college groups, marriage retreats, conferences, sports camps and senior centers—in rooms of 7 and rooms of 2,000. At the end of the day, nothing brings me more joy than inspiring and encouraging people to thrive together.
